Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
