Intensive Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Electricity In Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have faced increased attacks in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, according to municipal leaders.

At the same time, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has escalated attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and applying penalties," was stated in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and more than 30 projectiles targeted the country's power systems, characterizing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A barrage of missiles damaged electrical systems and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.

Area administrators said the urban area endured intense attacks during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were injured.

The strikes succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, portions of which are occupied by Russian forces.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to damage the national power system, with assaults already affecting energy systems.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were bracing for further attacks.
